TV Tower

Coming from Braila to Galati, on water or on land, from a distance one can see the TVTower, a unique construction in Romania and similar to two other towers, one in Toronto, Canada and the other in Berlin, Germany.

The main attraction of the tower is the panoramic view of the area. From inside the dome can be seen in the clear days the Danube course, the Dobrogea Mountains, but also a large part of the Republic of Moldova, beyond Giurgiulesti.

The tower is made of reinforced concrete, consisting of a high column, through which is the elevator that climbs to the top of the tower where there is a three-storey modular, cylindrical construction comprising a restaurant and also relays and television installations.
